Nice to meet you, let me introduce myself! 

As a clinical hypnotherapist I have successfully helped a large number of clientele for the last five years. From quitting smoking, to weight management through to anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

I am an accredited registrant member of the National Hypnotherapy Society

I am an approved therapist for Anxiety UK

My years as a qualified adult nurse were spent working for the NHS within a variety of different medical settings 

I hold a Certificate in Counselling Skills, essential to my work

I hold a clear CRB check

My skills, experience and knowledge are constantly being updated through maintenance of my Continuing Professional Development (including regular supervision, further training) and following a set code of ethics within my work, so you can be assured you are receiving the best package of treatment

What is hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy as a whole is a form of therapy that involves working with you, the client in helping you overcome your problems so you can positively move forward. Hypnosis makes up a large part of hypnotherapy. It is a tool that brings about deep relaxation, where one maintains a heightened sense of awareness so they can focus easily, whilst remaining in control throughout.


 It can be used to treat cases from relaxation and maintaining a sense of well - being to overcoming or better managing anxiety and depression. The list is almost endless! 

Setting the record straight

Contrary to popular belief, hypnotherapy does not involve hypnosis as you may have viewed on television or at staged events. The hypnosis involved is deeply relaxing. It does not cure, but instead positively alter symptoms, ways of thinking, feeling and in turn situations and how you react to them. Hypnotherapy is at a level that is purely beneficial and suited to the individual and their needs.
